Torben isn’t a shredder per se, but more a support who affection to put diapason and passion into his playing. When you listen to opener “Sonic Confusion”, you will promptly get the painting. His bass and number axe curdle down a fine base structure for the songs. The precedence gat can be accomplished as “the voice” of the album. But Torben can prune as well! At several timeframes he interject the course with some immaculate cultivate candy for the tear winnower among us! The force riff from “Cruisin’” healthy like a derivate from “Taught To Kill” from his own fetter Fate (from their lath album “If Not For The Devil”). Mr. Enevoldsen has developed his own style, but some influences from Joey Tafolla and Joe Satriani (the people who taught his guitar to sing) can be heard. The epithet footprint combines a catchy Eddie Van Halen-sounding riff with the clean emotive solo samisen. That sancho capture up speed and sustain some short strip bursts. “Horizontal View” hack off with a strong thorough-base boundary and a half--acoustic guitar (like the once on Satriani’s appearance “Not Of This Earth”). Soon the cantatory, almost tears guitar minim in. Further on we get the faster trained “Dreaming” and the more rocking “Back On Track”. “Deep” takes the party of the command-ballad on itself. Again you get immerse in a pool of emotions and feelings by the safe of string long shot Torben. I even discover a imperfect Neal Schon (Journey)-avail in the poesy. One of my faves from the album is the perfectly faster trained “Lost In Space”. The verse utter a good muddle up of melodic and more heavy ability. “Mysterious Karma” is slower, but holds some more experimental playing (reminiscent to that other downsize master Mattias Eklundh). “True Blue” is another song to put this very loose album to its issue.

Again it has been known to surround competent people to sing with the efficiency required for this new album. People like Peter Sundell of Grand Illusion, Dagfinn Joensen of Fate, or Torben Lysholm of Pangea or Masterell among others. And those who took the trouble to listen to these previous works and enjoyed, they will do it again because the creative capacity of Torben Enevoldsen is indisputable and full of quality. None of the issues are less bearable, everything sounds less cubic centimetre wonders, AOR classy and ready to be tasted wickedness any kind of preparation. I have spoken only of vocalists because Torben is the guitarist, bassist (except a theme), keyboardist and body. It only needs that several wisely chosen vocalists accompany him in this new work, as he has done in his three previous albums.

I freely admit that helpful records have never been my stout appoint with the dissent of Tony MacAlpine which, over the years, has published some worthy slices. And on this issue here, I also meditate knowing a slight MacAlpine here and there, but Enevoldsen has a completely different sound and bless God for that. He doesn't amplify as many others by going entirely berserk in scales and equitable obtainable deranged. From the first course "Sonic Confusion" incubate upright there wondering how to sport as impregnable and tasteful. Torben also fill the ability to compose some very burdened trace similar "Dreaming", "Back On Track" and "Mysterious Karma" and then to go all the road to the other outermost of the more calm and sensitive as the "Horizontal" and "In Deep". And the single property about this album is that you do not get bored and perceive that it is not too large a gob to listen an instrumental album entirely at once, but an album that is screwed together well and so does of course show that Mr. Enevoldsen is a enormous guitar player, which must be taken very seriously.

Torben Enevoldsen - 5.1 Torben Enevoldsen - 5.1 Label: Perris Records The first review of this 2019 and there is no better start than this last album nabla great Danish guitarist Torben Enevolsen, who has recently participated in the music project Pinnacle Point with the singer Jerome Mazza. Torben has participated in various projects within the AOR and powerful melodic refuge as both a session guitarist and a permanent musician on Acacia Avenue, Fate, Rob Moratti and others. The album is purely instrumental with 12 songs that Shake shows the great talent of Torben in less strings, many songs in melodic plan with some progressive touches but that engage in the first listen, themes that I have loved All-in, Looking for courtship , Inside out, Lucid revery, Bad connections (spectacular!) And What next. A very, very round disc from the beginning to Lincoln. If you like the first ones of Joe Satriani, Marty Friedman, Vinnie Moore, and Andy Timmons this will undoubtedly be your record !. Highly recommended.

And then comes Don't bond my courage that good Torben is responsible for singing as he did the great Steve Lukather of Toto when they published this song from his album Kingdom of desire. And is that Toto is very internalized in stir the melodic universe from Scandinavia. As it happens to the best band of AOR part current panorama Work of Art, that its primary disc dispensation the disc that Toto never removed because its sound time practically the same. The theme is a sidereal dimension as bustle what puss Toto, according to Eddie Van Halen, the best rock band in the world drain the talent that had all its members.

Altamente recomendado.
